Created in 3ds Max 2011 64bit, -on a Mac (using VMware Fusion, -OS on VMware: Windows Vista 64bit. But, I'd recommend using BootCamp instead of the virtual machine, since BootCamp gives you a MUCH better use of your graphics card. Graphics card: GeForce GTX 285 . CPU: 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, Memory: 12 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ). Rendered using mental ray. This was a quick work, it took ~ a day to create (Currently I've been learning Maya 2011 for work at ghOst productions).
The Flayer is singing Jingle Bells, -good for attracting holiday singers. Holiday brains are like Happy Meals for flayers .
Nice animation, as always. Did you try using the glare shader in MRay though? The glows look very realistic now and same for the bokeh shader. You could actually make use of it since on my puny 2.8 ghz quad-core, it's a bit slow for animations.
Nice animation, as always.

I've been learning Maya 2011 as well!
